DMVA’s grassroots cleanup events, held three times a year, continue to expand ShoreSaver’s reach and community engagement. The post-cleanup brunch prepared by Del Mar’s lifeguards and partners promotes the ShoreSaver program and keeps Del Mar green.

Join DMVA in painting the town pink and cheering on more than 2,000 walkers as the San Diego Susan G. Komen 3-Day® kicks off in Del Mar! This cheering station is an annual outpouring of support from the community that welcomes the walkers with pink balloons and ribbons. Cheerleaders from Torrey Pines High School, the Del Mar Lifeguards, local business owners, and community residents line the streets to cheer the event participants on their journey south to San Diego.

This beloved tradition is our most significant event of the year in downtown Del Mar Village. It combines culinary magic, holiday allure, and family-friendly fun in one unforgettable afternoon. Featuring 15+ tastes from local restaurants, 20+ sips from regional wineries and breweries, live music, photos with Santa at Del Mar Plaza, and culminating in Del Mar’s annual holiday tree lighting, this event draws over 2,000 guests to the Village.
